With the Kruger National Park on our door step Safaris in an open vehicle is
really a must to do. You will be with an experienced and knowledgeable guide.

If you go on any of the Safaris you will be picked up and dropped of from Nandina guest house.

EXCLUSIVE SABI SAND AFTERNOON / NIGHT SAFARI

The Sabi Sand game reserve is a very well known private game reserve situated on the western border of the Kruger National Park - there are no fences between the 65 000 hectare Sabi Sand reserve and the Kruger National Park and therefore the Sabi Sand forms a part of the Greater Kruger National Park.

The reserve was founded in the 1950's by a group of private land owners. Sabi Sand is home to a wide variety of animals, including the Big 5...

Night safari with boma dinner: We offer the most popular night safari in the Sabi Sand reserve where you get an opportunity to get up close to the nocturnal animals of our area. We collect you in Hazyview at about 14:00, after arrival at the lodge, we serve coffee/tea before you head off in your 4x4 open safari vehicle for your off road experience in the African Bush!

At sunset we offer sundowner drinks and snacks while an armed ranger keeps a watchful eye. It is an exciting experience to learn about the African bush, wildlife and stars with the help of powerful spotlights.

After the three hour drive, we stop at the traditional boma on the banks of the Sand River to enjoy a typical South African dinner. Cash bar available, drinks at the dinner are not included. Your qualified and highly experienced guide will ensure that you have a memorable drive.

BUSHWALKS:

Bush walks can be done in the Kruger National Park or in the
Sabi Sand private game reserve.

Experience nature up close and personal you will be picked up and dropped off at Nandina a armed guide and backup will be walking with you in the Big 5 area's.

The aim of a bush walk is not to see the Big 5 but to experience nature and the smaller things on offer.

Birding is also amazing to do on this excursion as you are entering a world that operates on sounds and sights and the absolute tranquility of nature will surround you like a blanket.

Payment requirements & Cancellation policies for safaris only.

Payment requirements:
Prior to tour: 100% payable to Nandina guest house

Cancellations Deposits or pre-payments are not refundable under any circumstances when the cancellation occurs within 7 days of booking.
Refunds on payments for other bookings are at the discression of management and are dependent on the ability to resell the tour.
All refunds are subject to a minimum cancellation fee of 25% regardless whether seats are resold or not.

These terms are non-negotiable and receipt of a signed acceptance or pre-payment assumes unconditional agreement to these terms.

Safaris, tours and other activities are subject to change, availability and dependant on weather conditions.

Should the operator cancel any tour due to weather conditions,
a 90% refund will be allowed. Whenever the operator decides that the weather conditions will not affect the tour or safety of tourists,
but the tourist decides to cancel the tour; the cancellation fees will be calculated from the time of pick-up:
0 - 24 hours prior to tour: 100% fee
24 - 48 hours prior to tour: 50% fee
